WHAT AN AMAZING COMMUNITY!
Wow! The 8th annual Giving is Gorges had amazing results. As of this writing, our community raised over $117,000 for local nonprofits which will go a long way in helping to support their missions and the people they serve! And, with 80 nonprofits participating we're very excited to see the local impact your gifts will make. If you missed Tuesday, there is still time to give! Giving is Gorges will end on June 30th. Head over to https://www.givingisgorges.org and join 837 donors to make an impact today!
Celebration 2022!
United Way of Tompkins County sends a big thank you to everyone who came out to Celebration 2022! It was delightful to see so many familiar faces and meet new members of our community in a fun and engaging way. We enjoyed celebrating what we have accomplished together this past year!

We are humbled and grateful for your continued support and look forward to working together in the years to come.
In case you were unable to attend, here is some of what we accomplished together this year!

Attendees were able to view interactive displays which featured messages from UWTC Volunteers and Staff about our collective impact this year through a "trivia" activity.

  • UWTC volunteers provided over 2000 hours of their time (Thank you!)
  • This year’s campaign, which raised $1,787,188 is an increase of about $105,000 over last year’s campaign total.
  • An estimated 23,000 callers received information and connections to human services resources by contacting 2-1-1, a UWTC funded program.
  • Corporate Cornerstone Partners made it possible for 100% of individual donor gifts to go to programs & services.
  • This year, UWTC funded over 100 programs held by over 50 agencies.
  • Giving is Gorges, held on June 21, 2022, is now hosted by UWTC!
