In this guide, you'll find tips for giving under the CARES and SECURE acts, tax-smart strategies for donating appreciated stock and IRA assets, and more.
Akron Community Foundation’s board of directors recently approved quarterly grants totaling $3,163,919‬, including $625,500 in competitive health and human services grants chosen by the foundation’s Community Investment Committee. The foundation also announced $75,000 in proactive grants.
Akron Community Foundation recently welcomed 13 new charitable funds to its growing family, bringing its total number of funds to more than 760. These newest funds will help improve Akron’s quality of life through beautification and responsible environmental management, provide scholarships for Chardon High School students, enrich the cultural and intellectual fabric of local communities through jazz music, and more.
