Habitat for Humanity +You: Race and Housing
|
In the wake of the killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Rayshard Brooks and far too many other Black Americans, we are in the midst of a national conversation about racial equity and justice.
This discussion, hosted by Habitat for Humanity International, features Richard Rothstein, author of
The Color of Law
, and focuses on the history of anti-Black racism and government-sponsored segregation in housing in the United States, and how that history is fundamental to issues of housing and equity today.
Habitat LA recognizes we must do more. We will do more.
