January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, which is a great time to focus on your cervical health. Your cervix is an important part of your reproductive system and keeping it healthy is key to your overall well-being.
Monica's journey with CHDC is a testament to the power of compassionate and patient-centered care. After avoiding her women’s health appointment for eight years due to a negative experience, she found hope and trust in CHDC and her provider, Krista Dankiw-Ludwig. National Blood Donor Month
Did you know that the month of January is a period of blood shortages? During the winter season many people stop donating blood due to the chilly weather and it being cold/flu season. However, donating blood is very important especially during this time.
Reasons to donate blood:
- One donation can help two or more patients in need.
- Every 2 seconds, someone in the United States needs blood.
- People in car accidents, undergoing cancer treatment, and battling blood diseases are in urgent need of blood.
