Garden of Honor

Wreath for Every Veteran

We Cleaned up Pond View and prepared for the Winter.

Every Week, Oxygen is pumped in the top of the pond to prevent freezing totally.

There are still 50 fish in there that the Blue Heron did not eat.

Billy went down to the laundromat to clean the gray chair covers.

I don't know another Cemetery in New England

that sets up services the way we do.

Tents, Chairs, Heaters, Sound System and Raised Stand with Drapes.

Sometimes we have cocktail tables with Bluetooth speaker for music.

Around 250 services Annually

and they all receive the same Hospitality and Compassionate Care.

The chair covers will still be warm from the dryer.

How do you protect and Secure

the inside of a Columbarium?

Rosettes needing a special tool and 2 granite niche doors. Sometimes the inner door may be aluminum.

Roslindale/West Roxbury Kiwanis Club

Annual Yankee Swap

Kiwanis is a global service organization of volunteers dedicated to improving children's lives and communities through hands-on service, fundraising for youth programs, and leadership development, operating through local clubs in over 80 countries since its 1915 founding in Detroit.

Its name comes from an American Indian phrase meaning "we trade" or "we share our talents," reflecting its focus on service, and it supports a family of clubs for all ages, like Key Club and Circle K.

Purpose & Activities

  • Focus on Children: Primarily serves children by building playgrounds, stocking schools, funding research, and mentoring.
  • Community Service: Members volunteer for local projects, such as feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, and assisting the sick.
  • Fundraising: Raises significant funds for community and global causes annually.

Remembering Bob Norberg, from Charl-Marc Kitchens and Bath in Roslindale, and how he loved the Yankee Swap.
