Thank you for the many ways you have supported our mission to bring HOPE to young people with brain cancer and their families in 2024. Whether you volunteered, participated in an event, purchased chances in a raffle, donated money or items, sponsored an event or prayed for our mission - ALL of your efforts are making a difference!

BELOW ARE SOME 2024 HIGHLIGHTS MADE POSSIBLE BY YOU!

We raised over $100,000 with our fundraisers including July 4th 5K, 2 bourbon raffles, Tony Merk Pigskin Preview and more. We are currently reviewing grant proposals so we can determine the best way to use these funds.

Our 1st bourbon raffle of the year raised enough funds for the proteomics study. Valuable research to determine if cerebro-spinal fluid can be analyzed for cancer diagnosis rather than having a brain biopsy. For families experiencing the risks and fears of a brain biopsy, this would be welcome news. And it has the possibility of influencing research in many other areas, as well.

Lucky 13? Our 13th annual Pray Hope Believe 5K had 1313 registered participants. It was another amazing event made possible by YOU! Plan NOW to join us for our 14th annual PHB 5K on July 4th. There's a reason we have maintained more than 1200 participants EVERY year!

Families thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to connect with other families who have had similar experiences - families who "get it." Family camp was made possible by a generous charitable donor and we couldn't be more grateful! An amazing day for fun, connection, relaxation, and HOPE!

To honor Tony Merk's 20th birthday (the original inspiration for PHBF), seventy people came to our 16th annual blood drive selflessly giving of themselves to save lives - while also enjoying some of Rick's delicious cheesecake! We also thank those making donations in Tony's memory. Thank you for helping his memory continue to have an impact. What a blessing!
