RCPL Staff: here to welcome all people to experience the shared joys of literacy and learning

January 13, 2025

We are excited for this new year, including kicking off the year with a new round of Listening Sessions. The conversations with community members will inform updates to our Service Priorities for the next few years. Also coming soon, the Downtown Library is the host of the 10th annual Young Adult Novelist Convention, which brings 13 accomplished young adult book novelists to our community.

We look back on 2023-2024 with pride at all that we accomplished for and with our community. Redwood City Public Library served its community with over 1 million items borrowed, 81,000 program attendees and 23,166 volunteer hours. Highlights include 10,661 Makerspace participants, 689 adult learners supported and 420 pounds of rooftop honey harvested. We hope you enjoy the visual wrap-up below!
