As we embark on our 25th year of service, we at Rainbow World Fund are filled with gratitude for your unwavering support.

Since 2000, we have distributed over $11 million in grants and life-saving aid, reaching both LGBTQ+ and non-LGBTQ individuals affected by natural disasters, hunger, poverty, disease, oppression, and war. This work has been supported by an incredible 105,000 hours of volunteer service. 

We take immense pride in our accomplishments over the years. Together, we have saved countless lives and provided support to many communities seeking safety and a chance to thrive.

Here are some highlights that your generous donations made possible in over 32 countries:

• Evacuated 900 endangered Afghan LGBTQ+ refugees and resettled 450 since 2023.
• Funded an underground railroad to help transgender women in Central America reach safety
• Delivered thousands of pounds of life-saving supplies, medications, and financial grants following international natural disasters in Cuba, Chile, Haiti, India, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, Nepal, Niger, Peru, Pakistan, Somalia, Thailand, and the USA.
• Supported hundreds of orphans and vulnerable children in Africa, Central America, and Mexico.
• Sheltered LGBTQ+ refugees fleeing persecution in Iraq, Syria, and Uganda.
•  Funded safe drinking water systems in rural Honduras and Guatemala, bringing clean water to hundreds.
• Led 21 humanitarian aid trips to Guatemala, Cuba, and Mexico.
• Advocated for aid, refugee protections, and human rights on 11 Washington, DC trips.
• Distributed 1 million pounds of food aid during Hurricane Katrina.
• Assisted asylum-seeking immigrants on both sides of the Mexico-USA border.
• Promoted human rights in Cuba, El Salvador, Guatemala, Pakistan, and Uganda.
• Provided HIV medications to people living with AIDS in Zimbabwe.

I want to thank our dedicated volunteers for all the hours they have given, our generous donors who make our work possible, our international partners working on the front lines, the entertainers and community supporters who have shared their talents with us, and the board members who have guided RWF.

Be a part of this unique symbol of global unity! We will be adding wishes to the 20th annual RWF World Tree of Hope at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco until January 6, 2026. All of the origami cranes on the tree are inscribed with wishes, hopes, and prayers for the future. Please add your wish to the tree; it'll be printed, folded into a crane, and placed on the tree. Adding a wish is FREE and open to all. 

The tree is RWF's gift to the world and reflects our philosophy of building bridges and sharing the message that we are all one human family.
