Climate Action Press Conference on the IRA Act
Thanks to Senator Casey and President Biden, the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) brings nearly $40B to advance climate-smart agriculture in PA and the nation, protecting our farms and boosting economic potential.

During yesterday’s Climate Action press conference, Jaime Arroyo, CEO of ASSETS, Dr. Sepi Yalda, Director of the Millersville University’s Center for Disaster Research and Education (CDRE), Eric Suader, Founder and Executive Director of RegenAll, and PA State Representative Ismail Smith-Wade-El spoke about the importance of the IRA Act and how protecting Pennsylvania’s farming and agriculture industries are vital for our economy and climate resilience.

The primary focus of yesterday’s Climate Action press conference was to urge Congress to uphold the IRA’s commitments to expand programs that help farmers put food on our tables and to reduce the impacts of climate change on their operations.
