One of Desert & Delta Safaris’ greatest assets is the combination of the unique properties they operate, spanning a comprehensive network of locations throughout the region. These encapsulate a large variety of ecosystems which can be enjoyed in a comprehensive safari package. The nine Desert & Delta Safaris properties are connected by light aircraft flights operated by Safari Air, allowing them to create all-inclusive safari packages covering every aspect of one's journey from the moment you arrive in Botswana.

SAFARI AIR FUEL SURCHARGE 2022 and 2023

Increase effective for travel from 01 August 2022 onwards

The Botswana Energy Regulatory Authority (BERA) has imposed a significant increase in the cost of aviation fuel, with immediate effect.

For any Desert & Delta Safaris packages a Fuel Surcharge of US$ 30.00 per person, per flight applies for 2022 and for 2023, US$35.00 per person, per flight.

In addition to this, for 2023 bookings, a US$15.00 per person per Kasane sector fuel surcharge is to be added in addition to the above to any Desert & Delta Safaris package on a Maun to Kasane routing (or vice versa) or US$30.00 (US$ 15.00 per Kasane sector) per person fuel surcharge to be added for Kasane to Kasane routing where Chobe Game Lodge is not included in the package at the beginning or the end of the itinerary.
