Don't Let Your E-Bike Take You To The ER

Together, we can save lives.

E-bikes make exploring our community fun and fast — but faster rides mean bigger risks. With Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue, we’re committed to helping everyone get where they’re going safely. Don’t let your e-bike take you to the ER. Know the real risks, ride smart, and stay safe.

Lemonade with the Lieutenant: Bethany Station’s Big 10-Year Bash!

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is celebrating 10 years at Bethany Station! Join us Tuesday, August 25, from 5–7 p.m. for Lemonade with the Lieutenant.

Stop by for lemonade, meet the lieutenant who serves the area, tour the station, and get a behind-the-scenes look at local law enforcement. Sheriff’s Office vehicles and special teams will also be on site for this family-friendly open house.

For the past decade, Bethany Station has helped provide dedicated law enforcement services to unincorporated Washington County, supported by the Enhanced Sheriff’s Patrol District (ESPD) levy.

Come say hello, ask questions, explore the station, and help us celebrate 10 years in the Bethany community!

Jury Scam Continues

Community members continue to report calls from someone pretending to be a Sheriff’s Office sergeant.

The caller may use a badge number, play radio traffic in the background, and claim the "suspect" has multiple warrants.

They scammer can also have accurate personal information, including past addresses and Social Security number.

Here’s what to know:

  • Law enforcement will not call and demand payment
  • We do not accept cryptocurrency or gift cards
  • We will never tell you not to talk to others about a call

If you get a call like this: hang up.
