Grief is the natural response to the loss of a loved one, but it can often be a lonely and confusing experience. Our small group gathering, Journey Through Grief, is an opportunity for those who have suffered a loss to seek a path toward healing. It is designed to help understand the feelings about loss and grief, to honor one's own expression of mourning, and to embrace hope for the future.
Facilitated by Wendy McClave Elliott, LCSW (Ret.) Please help us plan for your presence via RSVP to wendymcclavelcsw@yahoo.com or call the church office 858.756.2441.

| | Thank You Village Church! | During our Homeless Veteran’s Initiative benefiting Interfaith Community Services our goal was to raise $14,000 for the purchase of new refrigerators for each of the apartments at their transitional housing for veterans. Thanks to the generosity of this congregation, we raised $22,000! The additional money will be used to buy a commercial freezer to replace the refrigerator that broke the day we arrived. They told us the timing could not have been better! | | New Song Available - You Are the Light | |
We are beyond thrilled to announce the official release of "You Are the Light," an original contemporary Christian music song written and recorded specifically for Village Church’s milestone 70th Anniversary!

"You Are the Light" is now streaming on all major platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and more). | | October Series - 'On the House' | |
This October, we’re walking students through an important and freeing truth: I am forgiven. Our theme, On the House, is built around the idea that God’s forgiveness is not something we earn—it’s something He freely gives because of what Jesus has already done.
October 18: Numbers 21:4-9;
John 3:14-17
October 25: Psalm 103:1-14
