As Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month continues, we honor the rich cultures, histories and contributions of these diverse communities through ongoing celebrations and reflection.

Jewish American Heritage Month


Jewish American Heritage Month is celebrated in May to recognize the historical, cultural and social contributions of the Jewish community in the United States. It is a time to honor their legacy and highlight their impact on American society. It also seeks to foster education and understanding about Jewish history and identity.

LOST CHILDHOODS

The Lost Childhoods Exhibit and program series continues with its look into foster care and juvenile justice systems through the eyes of youth. Join us for May events:


May 13 @ 6pm: A Conversation About CSEC (Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children)

May 19 @ 6pm: Not Again! School Stability for Foster Youth

May 20 @ 5:30pm: Looking Back, Moving Forward: Juvenile Justice in San Mateo County


This exhibit and program series is offered in partnership with Foster Youth Museum and CASA of San Mateo County

Senior Transportation Survey

Help Improve Transportation for Redwood City Seniors age 65+!


The Redwood City Senior Affairs Commission is conducting a brief survey to better understand the transportation needs of residents 65 and older. It takes just 10–20 minutes, is anonymous, and your input will directly shape recommendations to City Council.


Survey closes August 1, 2025 at 11:59pm.

Community Allstars: A Community Collaborative Sports Event!


Join in for a day filled with fun games, including flag football, basketball, arts and crafts, and more. There will also be resource tables providing the opportunity for you to learn more about the supports available to you.
