CONGRATULATIONS ALRAY GRADUATES
Sandra Annisette graduated from Lesley with a double major in elementary education and global studies and plans on becoming a teacher.
Jean Dolin (L), Alray scholar who will graduate shortly from SNHU and Alray mentor, Bryan Buckley (R) who just earned his PhD.
Ayesha James, earned her Human Service Degree at UMass Boston while balancing a job, school and a family. She plans on becoming a teacher.
Brendan Attridge graduated from Lesley with an interdisciplinary degree that combines psychology, social work, health and wellness, and child homelessness studies; he applies these skills to his job at a transitioning home.

Graduation season is upon us and many degrees will arrive in a large envelope with no pomp or circumstance-yet it is still the fulfillment of years of hard work and unwavering commitment.

Alray is grateful to our compassionate supporters who help make our scholars' goal of earning a degree a reality.

Thanks to your generosity, scholars were able to continue with their studies. The outpouring of support for emergency funding during this public health crisis enabled Alray to provide scholars with laptops, grocery cards and additional tuition payments.

Alray is thrilled to announce that we are a recent recipient of a 10-year grant from the Cummings Foundation (more details below).

We are well positioned to move forward and help more scholars return to college and graduate.

The Alray community is uplifting. We celebrate our graduates, scholars, mentors and supporters.

Alray is grateful to the Cummings Foundation for believing in our mission and awarding our organization with a prestigious 10 year grant.
How you can help
Through mentoring and financial support, we give promising graduates of Boston Public Schools a second chance at a college education, assisting them in overcoming hurdles to earn their degree and become stronger contributors to the Greater Boston community.
Special thanks to contributing writer Ash Taylor-Beierl a higher education professional working out of Richmond, VA. She is currently pursuing her PhD on Education Policy and Leadership, with research interests in college access and in diversity, equity, and inclusion within higher education
