Grant program seeks public feedback on new guidelines
To ensure fair and equitable granting, the State Arts Council is in the process of restructuring its Investments in Arts and Culture (IAC) general operating support program. The working title for the expanded and updated program is General Operating Support for Organizations (GOS), and it will provide multi-year unrestricted operating support to arts and culture organizations and culturally-specific organizations throughout Rhode Island.
The program has explicit goals to recruit black, indigenous and people of color (BIPOC) centered organizations and organizations in Rhode Island cities and towns currently unrepresented in the program.
