Dear Diocese of Florida:
As we recently shared with great joy, The Episcopal Church has given the required consents to the election of the Reverend Randy Alexander as the ninth Bishop of Florida. We continue to give thanks for this milestone.
As we prepare to welcome Bishop-Elect Randy, we invite you to take part in a longstanding tradition of the Episcopal Church. When a new bishop is ordained, the people of the diocese come together to provide gifts for the new ministry, such as the vestments and symbols of office a bishop carries.
If you would like to contribute, your gift will help provide Bishop-Elect Randy's consecration and ordination gifts and expenses. Any funds received beyond the cost of these gifts and expenses will go to the Bishop's Discretionary Fund, where Bishop-Elect Randy will help guide their use in ministry across our diocese.
To give online, click here or the button below. Checks may be made payable to the Episcopal Diocese of Florida and mailed to 325 N. Market Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202. Please write "Bishop Collections Fund" on the "For" line of the check.
