Celebrating Black History Month
Throughout the month of February, the City of Brampton honours the many achievements and contributions of the Black community who throughout history have contributed so much to make Brampton the vibrant, compassionate and prosperous city it is today.
The City’s popular Backyard Garden Program returns for a fifth year. This eco-friendly initiative helps support food insecurity in our city by providing participants with free soil, seeds and helpful tips to grow their own garden.
Join us for Sports Day in Brampton on February 24, at Save Max Sports Centre, to connect with local minor sport groups and learn about programs and activities available in your community. Participate in sport demonstrations for a chance to win a prize!
Apply to have your neighbourhood group become an Affiliated Neighbourhood Association for access to City benefits, support with neighbourhood projects and up to $1,500 from the new Nurtured Neighbourhood Grant.
Experience the power of storytelling, music and comedy. Choose from more than 20 performances this month, including The Trews, Broadway star Eva Noblezada, Family Day with Splash'N Boots and more!
