Celebrating Black History Month

This Black History Month, we’re celebrating the resilience, innovation and leadership of Black entrepreneurs who have helped shape Detroit’s economy. From historic Black-owned businesses to today’s thriving startups, their impact is everywhere. Detroit Means Business is proud to support and uplift Black business owners with resources, opportunities, and a strong community network—this month and every month.

One way you can celebrate Black History Month is by joining the Black Business Reunion: Social & Spades, hosted by our partner TechTown Detroit. This event is happening TONIGHT from 4:30-7 PM and will provide an opportunity to connect with fellow entrepreneurs, unwind with music, savor delicious food and enjoy classic games likes Spades, UNO and Dominoes.

Let's toast to the legacy of Black-owned businesses in Detroit together!

The evening kicks off at 5:30 .p.m., with networking and small plates, followed by a quick introduction of each startup's MVP.
