STUDENT CENTER: #CUNY2022 🎓💫

Nasim Almuntaser, Brooklyn College ’22, is molding the next generation of leaders. As a first-gen college student, he faced hardships in navigating school while supporting his ill father. Overcoming these obstacles inspired him to pursue community organizing and educational advocacy. Nasim served as a College Now ambassador, a College Bridge for All coach and a NYC Men Teach participant. Currently a teacher in NYC schools, he aims to one day run for office and fight for marginalized communities.

Nasim's advice: "Join clubs, become civically engaged, meet your peers and reach out to your professors. Take the initiative in getting involved and being a part of programs. At the end of the day, what you put in is what you get." Interested in education? Connect with Nasim on LinkedIn!
