PREPARING FOR SUNDAY - Worship, Praise, Question & Answer

Please plan to attend either of Sunday's services on June 2nd. The Rev. Bob Tate, transition consultant for the Diocese of Pennsylvania, will preach and lead a conversation on the evolving relationship with Christ Church, Ithan, and the upcoming search for a single Rector to lead both congregations. Your input to this process is very important. In addition, students, graduates, and teachers will be recognized during the 10:00 AM service for their efforts this year. Everyone is invited to show their support and share in their successes!

Children & Youth
Wrap-Up

This Sunday is the last Sunday of the Sunday School year when we recognize all the children and youth who have been involved in any of the St. Martin's programs in the past year. From regular Sunday School to the pageant, Faith Fairs, Summer Sundays, children's choir and more, we will offer certificates to all participants. We also thank all the parents and other parishioners who support the children's and youth programs throughout the year. Join us in the worship space this Sunday, and enjoy the children singing, too.

Music rehearsal and nursery begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by a quiet bible reflection and collage making for children of all ages in the Chapel just off the Gurley Room. Please contact Ms. Deb with feedback or questions.
Bible Study News
June Sessions

The Wednesday night Bible Study returns to St. Martin's on June 5 and continues at St. Martin's for the month of June. We begin at 7:15 p.m.each week in the large Sunday School room at the end of the hall. Books are provided, and no prior participation is needed. This is an interpretive approach where everyone shares their experiences as we delve into the synoptic gospels. If you have questions please contact Deb Parker.

Outreach
Be a Diva Donor!

Thanks to you, we have sponsored 8 dancers. We only need $78 to reach our goal of providing new uniforms for 10 dancers from Highland Avenue. Donate alone or join together with friends - every amount is important. Another way to help is to come to a carwash fundraiser in the St. Martin's parking lot on Saturday June 15th, from 11:00-1:30. The Little Divas and St. Martin's Youth will get your car sparkling clean - a perfect Father's Day gift! For more information, please contact Pam Faber.
All Levels Yoga Class
Breathe, stretch, and destress!

The next St. Martin’s yoga class will be June 4th, at 6:30 p.m in the Gurley Room. Enjoy this opportunity to indulge in some self-care. It's a great mind-body-soul experience!
SWIC News
Press Release

It is with great joy that SWIC distributed a press release Tuesday because the first two batches of chickens went to market for the farms started in late April! Many of you bought chicks as gifts during the holidays, and others made donations since then. We thank all of you. Videos and other information are on the SWIC website and the press release can be found there as well. Please promote this press release through your own network. Our relationship building continues so you will see more information as we launch new farms this summer and fall.
Gryphon Cafe
A Midweek Gathering

The next Upper Room gathering is on Wednesday, June 12th, at 6:00 PM upstairs at the Gryphon Café, 105 W. Lancaster Ave, Wayne. Discussions will relate to: “Potential” is a very weird thing. It doesn’t actually exist yet but many of us base our lives on it. What do you think is your “potential”? How do you reach it? Stop in on any 2nd or 4th Wednesday for some interesting conversation and fellowship.

Sandwiches and beverages will be available. CCI attendees are bringing desserts and we are responsible for side dishes. Please use the sign-up sheet in the Gurley Room to note your dish. Thank you!

Suggested items to bring: a side dish, lawn chairs or blankets, and friends!
