Good Friday and Easter Weekend

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Today we remember Good Friday, the day our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ gave his life on the cross to take away the sins of the world.

Although the state of our nation and world remain in perilous times, Camille and I encourage you to spend this weekend reflecting on the blessings that we enjoy as Americans and children of God.

We are praying that you and your family enjoy a happy and meaningful Easter weekend and Resurrection Sunday. Rest in knowing that God is in control, and hold on to the hope of Jesus in these uncertain times.

However you choose to celebrate, we hope you will join us in lifting up our communities, state, and nation in prayer as we thank God for sending his only Son to live, die, and rise again for us.

1 Peter 2:24 "He himself bore our sins" in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; "by his wounds you have been healed."
