Celebrating Eight Years of John 6:35 Ministries!

This month marks eight years since the founding of John 6:35 Ministries! Much has changed in Haiti over the past eight years, and our ministry has had to adapt to meet new challenges while remaining faithful to our vision of promoting Jesus and Jobs in Haiti.

Over the years, we’ve helped create numerous small businesses and job opportunities—all in the Name of Jesus! Today, many men and women who were previously unemployed are working as ministry managers, truck drivers, moto taxi operators, farmers, millers, tillers, herders, and grocers. These eager souls are experiencing the dignity of meaningful work while sharing the hope of Jesus through their daily activities. Amen!

Amazingly, and quite unexpectedly, God has also equipped our ministry to help meet the critical needs of some of southern Haiti’s most vulnerable people, including widows, children, fatherless families, and people with disabilities.

We’ve been able to provide life-sustaining food and medical assistance, cover funeral expenses and the cost of health care equipment, support school tuition, and assist with rent for some of Haiti’s poorest and most vulnerable people. In 2025 alone, we provided more than 40,000 meals amid a continuing famine.

We expect this work to continue over the next eight years and well beyond! We also believe God is leading us to expand our reach and become even more effective in serving the people of the Les Anglais region.

A New Vision for J635 in Les Anglais

God has given J635 leadership a vision for a ministry center near the heart of the city. This multifunctional facility would serve as a:

J635 office to support and coordinate our growing ministry activities.

  1. Residence for our local manager to provide

a secure and convenient home base for ministry operations.

  1. Secure food warehouse to help us store and distribute food to those facing hunger.

  2. Medical clinic staffed by a full-time nurse to provide essential care to people in need.

  3. Gathering place for bible studies, special church services, and business training where people can grow in their faith and business acumen and experience Christian fellowship.

  4. Temporary safe space for abused children, widows, and people with disabilities who need protection and support.

We are excited to share that a local church has already donated the land for this center! An engineer has inspected the property, and construction plans are now being drawn up for review and approval.

When the time is right, we’ll share the finalized construction plans with the J635 family of supporters. Soon afterward, we plan to launch a capital campaign to raise the funds needed to bring this vision to life.

Thank you for being part of the J635 family! Your prayers, generosity, and encouragement have helped make the past eight years possible. We look forward with great anticipation to what God will accomplish through John 6:35 Ministries in the years ahead—as we continue promoting Jesus and Jobs, meeting critical needs, and sharing His hope throughout southern Haiti.

To God be the glory!
