Wise Guys vs. SMART Girls Ultimate Egg Drop Challenge!
Can an egg survive a fall from a high place? Our Griset Clubhouse Wise Guys and Smart Girls Club members were able to design, build and test their egg protection devise. The members problem-solved together and learned to use critical thinking skills to design their devices. In the end, the Wise Guys ended up with the WIN!!

Encinitas Teens Write Letters To First Responders
Teens in our Keystone Club expressed their appreciation and admiration for our local firefighters and paramedics who serve our community by writing them letters. They even collaborated with younger club members, helping them with spelling and coming up with sentences that properly expressed their gratitude.

Become a Certified Lifeguard This July
Students who successfully complete this course will obtain an American Red Cross Lifeguarding and First Aid, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and Oxygen Administration Certificate.

With 160 people in attendance and $10,000 raised, our first annual Bulldog-O-Rama gave players a chance to bond and play a variety of activities like the coach dunk tank, bounce house, lazer tag maze, and of course basketball!

Private Lessons at YAA
Youth Arts Academy offers private music lessons in a wide variety of instruments with professional artists. Students meet once a week for 30 minutes.

Kids Rock The Stage
Our Youth Arts Academy's 13th Annual Fundraiser and Youth Rock Concert, sponsored by Fawkes Engineering, took place at Music Box in downtown San Diego on May 21st, 2023. The event featured 28 performers, including six rock bands, two private lesson students, and a representative from the free ukulele and percussion outreach program. More than $7,000 was raised!

Thank you to Panda Cares for awarding our La Colonia Clubhouse $10,000 for youth-centered learning such as Power Hour, Center for a Healthy Lifestyle, SMART Girls, Passport to Manhood, and STEM programs. The grant assisted us in providing necessary supplies, technology, and trained mentors.
Panda Express also donated 100 meals for our La Colonia Clubhouse end-of-year party!
