A Note from Our CEO
Greetings!
I watched Samantha Cazares walk across the stage to receive her Master's in Public Health. That moment—accepting that diploma—is profound. You can see it in the smile, the pride, the weight of all those early mornings and late nights finally paying off.
Samantha came to LEAP as a work-study student in 2021. She grew into a family advocate in our Family Resource Center, and now works as our Enrollment Specialist, helping families navigate both enrollment and the stresses in their lives. What matters most is that she's brought her education back to LEAP—she designed the LEAP Olympics for our Family Fiesta, grounding it in public health principles that strengthened our community.
This is what multi-generational growth looks like. When we invest in our staff—supporting them as they pursue degrees, advance their careers, push themselves to grow—we're not just changing individual lives. We're building stronger families. We're modeling for our children what lifelong learning means. We're creating a more vibrant, capable workforce.
This June, we celebrate six LEAP staff members who graduated. One earned a Master's degree. Another earned an Associate’s Degree. Four educators completed their early childhood education credentials, opening doors to new opportunities in the classroom and advancing their careers.
To each of you who walked across that stage: we see you. We celebrate you. We are so proud.
Warmly,
Lori Lander Goodman
Chief Executive Officer
