Leesburg's Flower Lady Surpasses $100,000 Raised for Food!
Meanwhile, back at the Flower Stand, our wonderful volunteer Rachel Roberts has continued the amazing work she began in 2012. Her Leesburg Flower Stand has now raised over $100,000 to help the hungry in our community over the last 8 years! We are incredibly grateful to Rachel and her customers for turning flowers into food year after year.

Please join us in congratulating Rachel for her amazing work. If you've never stopped and donated in return for one of her lovely arrangements, make this the year you do! She can be found at 307 Edwards Ferry Rd in Leesburg!

Helping Our Neighbors -
June numbers and looking forward...

  • Loudoun Hunger continues to see between 700 and 800 families a week. The economic impact of this crisis will likely last well over a year, even once things return to normal. As the unemployment enhancements and eviction protections end, our neighbors will face the unenviable decision of having to choose between paying their bills and putting food on the table.

  • Loudoun Hunger Relief distributed about 230,000 pounds of food to families in need in June. We distributed nearly 700,000 pounds of food from April 1 to June 30. That's almost 600,000 meals! Our team has worked tirelessly to find creative ways to safely source, store and distribute healthy food to more people in need than ever before.

  • Our community support remains strong, and our financial position remains stable as we carefully steward our resources in preparation for the storm to come.
We are GRATEFUL for your help!
