Dear Alexander,

Happy Fourth of July!

Team Soto had a great time celebrating the holiday in Celebration with the community. It was 248 years ago that our forefathers fought for our freedom and created this great democracy. We hope everyone enjoyed the day safely with family and friends.

More Affordable Housing for Kissimmee

We were honored to present $1.8 million in Community Project funds to the City of Kissimmee for "The Haven on Vine"—an affordable housing project that will create 100+ units and help families in need along SR-192. Proud to work with local partners to address housing needs in Central Florida.

Visiting EA Sports in Orlando

We had a great time at EA Tiburon offices in Orlando—creators of the iconic NFL Madden and new college football video games. It is inspiring to see their innovation and creativity contribute to the creation of new jobs in the community, the joy they bring to their gamers, and the growth of our local economy.

Touring New Duke Energy Plant

It was great touring Duke Energy's facility in DeBary. The Inflation Reduction Act is incentivizing this innovative project that combines solar power with green hydrogen, advancing clean energy. FPL is planning a major hydrogen plant for the South Osceola/Okeechobee area soon. We are proud to see Florida lead in sustainable solutions. Let's keep working towards clean, sustainable energy!

Visiting the Boys and Girls Club

Honored to visit the Tupperware Brands branch of the Boys and Girls Club of Central Florida—a 25K sq ft facility empowering our youth with computer labs, a music studio, and more. It is incredible to see how they're nurturing the potential of Central Florida's children.

Feeding Families in Need in BVL

Team Soto visited Ministerio Renuevo in BVL to learn about their food distribution efforts in the community. We're proud to work on the Agriculture Committee to support food assistance with our partners at Second Harvest and ensure all families in Central Florida have food on the table.

Touring Amazon's MC01 in Orlando

We had a great tour of Amazon's MC01 fulfillment center in Orlando, where we got a closer look at their operations in the Central Florida area. This high-tech facility employs over 4,000 workers, recycles 89% of its materials, and delivers well-needed goods to Central Florida families. We're proud to see Amazon invest in our community.

Celebrating Our 2024 Graduates

Team Soto was proud to attend Polytechnic University Orlando's 2024 Commencement Ceremony, which celebrated the achievements of Hispanic graduates in STEM and business. You are set to impact our Central Florida community significantly—and we celebrate you!

PACT Act Resources for Veterans

Toxic-exposed veterans in Central Florida deserve to access all their rightfully earned benefits without issue.

For more information, visit VA.gov/PACT or call 1-800-698-2411.

There has been an increase in PACT Act-related email, phone, and social media scams targeting veterans by offering to submit claims on their behalf. Click here to learn more.

Emergency Mental Health Care for Veterans

Veterans can receive no-cost emergency mental health care at VA or non-VA healthcare facilities. Veterans can use this benefit whether or not they are enrolled in the VA system. This policy will save lives.

Insulin is Now No More Than $35/Month for Seniors

During the 117th Congress, House Democrats passed the Inflation Reduction Act. Now, millions of seniors no longer have to ration their insulin because they can’t afford it.

I'm proud to be your representative and look forward to our continued efforts to improve our district! Please do not hesitate to call my office with any questions or concerns.
