Friday, 12 June we held our final assembly of the year with awards being presented virtually. The following week over the process of four days, students ventured back to the school building for the first time since the middle of March to return their books, receive their report cards, pick up their award certificates as well as their summer reading assignments. Of course, all social distancing protocols and requirements were in place to ensure everyone's health and safety. The 2019-2020 academic year marks the completion of our eighteenth year and it certainly was one for the record books. We look forward to returning to our classrooms for the 2020-2021 academic year and we pray through the intercession of Saint LaSalle to help us make that dream come true.
This year due to the COVID-19 restrictions, we were unable to hold our annual Gala. Thanks to our generous sponsors and donors, we were able to proceed with our Raffle drawing that usually coincides with the Gala. The drawing took place at our Graduation Car Parade on the evening of Friday, 12 June. I am pleased to announce that Brother Thomas P. Casey, FSC was the winner of the $5,000.00 Prize. Brother Thomas has graciously donated the prize money back to the school to benefit the scholarship program named in his honor.
I would like to take this opportunity to celebrate and recognize the academic achievements of our students. Twenty-seven students will be recognized with Honor Roll Status for the year and listed below are those students who achieved a position on the Honor Roll for the fourth and final quarter of the 2019-2020 school year along with those receiving Academic Achievement Awards. Congratulations Gentlemen!!! You truly work hard to achieve your dreams!!!
