A Message from Rabbi Peltz

Dear Temple Beth Sholom Family,

Every year our Seder begins with Kadesh, the blessing over the first cup of wine. At the end of that blessing, right before we drink, we say the she-heheyanu blessing. This is the blessing that marks milestone moments in our lives. We say it at the Seder because we are grateful. Grateful for our tradition, grateful for being a part of Jewish people, and grateful to be around the table with family and friends.

We hope that you will join your TBS Family to celebrate Passover and other wonderful moments over the coming weeks! See below for our schedule of Passover service times including Yizkor on the eighth day of the holiday.

We also invite you to visit our website resources to sell your hametz and enrich your Seders.

Towards the end of our Seder we will say l’shana ha’ba’ah b’Yerushalayim – Next Year in Jerusalem! We also hope you will join as we celebrate Israel’s 75th birthday the weekend of April 28-30. You can click here for more information and to register.

We hope that you and your family have a meaningful and liberating holiday. Wishing you a zissen Pesah!

Four Questions at Passover for Israel's 75th Anniversary

On Shabbat, Morning Minyan, and Festivals we offer the Mi Sheberakh prayer for those in need of healing (physically and spiritually). We maintain this list and publish it weekly. Each Passover, we reset the list and remove all names. If you would like a name to remain on our list, please notify Alvin Stern by emailing: eyeontorah@aol.com

ShopRite Gift Cards

Purchase Gift Cards for your Passover shopping and support TBS!

ShopRite has a wonderful selection of everything you’ll need for your Passover shopping. What better way to support TBS than to buy ShopRite scrip (gift cards)! If 100 families purchased $100 of gift cards each week for 50 weeks of the year we would sell $500,000 and make $25,000 for TBS. We earn 5% on the sale of ShopRite scrip. Please contact the TBS Front Office to make a purchase.
