Update: June 2025

Summer is in the air, and soon so will be 13 friends of the Center for Health and Hope as they visit the Center's programs in Kenya and Rwanda in early July. Scroll down below for Center updates including several opportunities to volunteer with us this summer!

On Tuesday, June 17 at either 8am or 4pm MDT, join the Center's Founder, Dr. Don Messer, and our Executive Director, Justin Levy, for an update on Center initiatives.

Hear from the Center's team, including several board and committee members, regarding current projects, plus, there will be time to ask questions during this hour-long call.

The Center is so proud of our 2025 graduates who include Bonface Muriungi (Kenya Medical Training College) and Doreen Gatwiiri (Chuka University). Thanks to your support, twelve students have recently graduated with diplomas and certificates. Many worthy students from meager backgrounds need your help.

Consider sponsoring a student with your friends and family and help to change a life, including:

Peninah Lealo - From a family of 13 children with no funds for school, Peninah is looking to get a degree in Business and Economics. Cost - $2,500.

Kelvin Kimaiyo - Kelvin's experience volunteering at health camps has led to his desire to seek a diploma in Orthopedic and Trauma Medicine. Cost - $2,172.

Celebrate Pride Month

The Center celebrates Colorado's diversity and culture at two Pride celebrations this June. Come join the fun and volunteer at the Center for Health and Hope's booth at Pride on South Pearl Street June 14 and Denver Pride June 28-29.

Rwanda Update

The Center's support in 2025 includes health insurance for 123 families and nutrition for 320 students a year. Our upcoming trip to Rwanda in July will include visits to Gisenyi and the Bugeshi sector to connect with partners and recipients alike.
