June 20, 2022
It's Pride month, all month long.
Today is the Juneteenth holiday.
Yesterday was Father's Day--Happy belated Father's Day to all you dads, step-dads, granddads, uncles and father figures!
Tomorrow is the summer solstice, the longest day of the year.

We celebrate these holidays and more this month. Wherever you are today, whatever you're celebrating, we're with you 100%.

Tune in tonight when Mayor Phil Suess will issue this mayoral proclamation in honor of Pride Month. Our own Dr. Joshua Lederman of Lederman Chiropractic & Sports Medicine will share a statement from the Chamber's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. If you'd like to join us at City Hall tonight, in person or virtually, here's the link to learn more.

To summer,

What's on Your Mind?

Please take a moment to share your thoughts on how the library is doing, what services are meeting your needs and where you'd like to see changes. If you fill out the survey by June 30, your name will be entered in a drawing to win a $25 Downtown Wheaton Association gift certificate.

Also, the library just notified us that the DuPage Symphony Orchestra Woodwind Quintet will play indoors in the Arts & Culture section instead of on the West Plaza at 7:00 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday) night at the library. Stay cool, y'all.
