May 5 – 7, we hosted a successful fully virtual Funding Forward conference bringing together nearly 200 funders and movement leaders for virtual learning, connecting, and building together. Thank you to everyone who made the conference a success!

Funders for LGBTQ Issues is one of the four philanthropic affinity groups that received an award from The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.
Members of the Walton Family launched a $1 million fund to support LGBT people in Arkansas, to be overseen by the Arkansas Community Foundation. While some applaud the gift, others are also calling on the family to do more to address the ongoing attacks against LGBTQ people by the state government.
