Drop everything and read to celebrate Read Across America Day
Students, staff, faculty, and community members took part in D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything and Read) yesterday to celebrate Read Across America Day. Launched in 1998 by the National Education Association (NEA) and guided by a committee of educators, NEA’s Read Across America is the nation’s largest celebration of reading. CHS CTAE graduation rate at 98.5 percent for 2020-2021 school year
Students in Carrollton High School's Class of 2021 who choose to focus on career-technical pathways posted a graduation rate that exceeded the state average among their peers, validating the growing importance of CTAE programs not only statewide but also at home.

The CJHS band is preparing for its Large Group Performance Evaluation and performed in concert earlier this week.
Trojan bands prep for festival
Tuesday night, the CJHS and CHS bands had a concert in preparation for their upcoming festivals. Each year, the bands have a panel of judges critique their performances so they can make adjustments before heading to Large Group Performance Evaluation (LGPE) later this spring.
CHS coding team earns national accolades once again
For the fourth consecutive year, a team of Carrollton High School students are among 274 other coding teams across the nation selected as winners in the 2021 Congressional App Challenge, an initiative of the U.S. House of Representatives to encourage middle and high school students to learn to code and consider pursuing careers in computer science.

Students in Mrs. Amy Robinson's class celebrated having a successful review. CES students participate in "Flashback Fridays" to review material they have already covered in order to retain the information. Teachers work hard to make these days fun and engaging for students to help keep them excited to learn.
