Your News from Lancaster City Schools...
Celebrating School Board Recognition Month
In honor of January being School Board Recognition Month, we would like to shine a light on our board members for their outstanding work in our community. Thank you to:

Amy Eyman - 14 years
Dianne Garlinger - 4 years
Kathy Kittredge - 12 years
Jay Nauman - 6 years
A. Lise Ricketts - 10 years

Each of these individuals is a graduate of Lancaster City Schools and has a long history of service to the district.

Oftentimes, people forget about the personal sacrifices school board members have to make to ensure their school district is operating at its highest potential. The success of LCS is a direct result of the influence and advocacy our board members demonstrate daily. We must remember that the relationship between our board members and our parents, educational professionals and community members helps to create the vision we want for our students.

Join us in recognizing these individuals and thanking them for the work they do that is often unseen. We would not be the school district we are today without their contributions.
