Participate in the 2024 Celebration of Engineering!

Sign Up Deadline: Wednesday, May 22 

 

There will be prizes! All senior design/capstone teams from the College of Engineering are eligible to participate in the Senior Design Competition. A group of select teams, based on department criteria, will compete in the Senior Design Champion Competition. All student teams in ENGR 113 may participate in the First Year Design Competition. Any undergraduate students conducting research, in their sophomore, pre-junior, or junior year, can display their work as part of the Undergraduate Research Competition. For more on the event and prizes, see the informational document.

 

All are welcome to attend the 2024 Celebration of Engineering on Friday, June 7. Showcase your work for the Drexel Engineering community and beyond and get a chance to win prizes!


Seeking Anthem Singer for Commencement


The College of Engineering is looking for a singer to perform The Star Spangled Banner at our commencement ceremony on the morning of Wednesday, June 8 at the Mann Music Center. To express interest, send a 15 second or longer clip of yourself singing to Jeff Martin, jm4789@drexel.edu, no later than May 8. Both graduating students and non-graduates are welcomed to submit.


Legacy Achievement Banquet Awards

Wednesday, May 22 at 6 p.m.

 

There are still open seats at our 2nd Annual Legacy Achievement Banquet (LAB Awards), presented by the College of Engineering's Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion! These awards celebrate students, faculty, and staff who have made significant contributions to fostering diversity, equity and inclusion within our community. We invite you to attend the event taking place in the University City Science Center, 3675 Market Street, 2nd Floor Quorum. Register to attend online.

 

Withdrawal Deadline Upcoming

 

The deadline to withdraw from a class is Friday, May 17, at 5 p.m. EDT. You can find instructions on how to withdraw on the Drexel Central website. If you are concerned about your grades in any courses, first speak with your instructor. If you decide you want to pursue a withdrawal, reach out to your advisor prior to Friday, May 17, at 4 p.m. EDT to discuss how withdrawing will impact your plan of study.
