A Message from Dr. Steinhoff

Dear Penn-Delco Community,

There’s something special about being part of a place that continues to grow and thrive. Penn-Delco isn’t just where we live - it’s where families put down roots, where neighbors look out for one another, and where our schools help shape the future. We take our role as public servants seriously and appreciate the opportunity to work with PDSD families.

Every day, we see incredible things happening in our classrooms, on our stages, on our athletic fields, and in our community. Our students are learning, leading, and achieving in ways that make us all proud, and it wouldn’t be possible without the support of our residents and families. While the important and meaningful metrics that measure the success of our district remain positive, I should note that our communities and neighborhoods are equally bright and appealing. Seniors looking to downsize are seeing their Homes sell quickly with high demand, corporations such as Christiana Care and Chase Bank are investing in centers or branches within our district, municipalities are purchasing and designating natural open spaces for residents. It all feels upbeat and positive and is worth noting during the optimistic season of Spring. The townships and boroughs in PDSD are clearly well regarded.

This year has been a productive one in Penn Delco schools...our students have been great! Please follow the many activities that will begin to pop up as we head into the final quarter of the school year. Our staff will continue to keep the progress and wellbeing of their students as the main priority, while working to make their school experiences enjoyable during this exciting time of the school year.

Gratefully Yours,

Dr. George Steinhoff
