In 2024, we celebrated the indomitable spirit of lifelong learning, exemplified by the inspiring journey of Arline Taylor Flournoy, an 82-year-old alum who returned to fulfill her dream of earning a degree. Flournoy first attended CSU in the 1960s. After years of personal and professional accomplishments, she had one more big goal — to graduate with her bachelor's degree. Students embark on in-depth tour of Statehouse, engage with lawmakers

Ohio Sen. Hearcel F. Craig shakes hands with Central State University students interested in political careers

Central State University political science students toured the Ohio Statehouse, engaging with lawmakers and legislative aides to explore governance and policy-making. Organized by alumni Lauren Morgan and Daquan Neal, the visit included discussions on immigration, political careers, and mentorship, emphasizing collaboration and hands-on experience in leadership.
