Gov. Jared Polis announced at a press conference yesterday that the general public will be eligible for COVID-19 vaccination starting Friday, April 2. Celebrating you this National Doctors' Day
Today is National Doctors' Day! In celebration of all of our physician members today and every day, the Colorado Medical Society presents our "Thank You" video originally produced for the 2020 CMS Annual Meeting. This still-timely video features notable Colorado faces expressing their sincere gratitude to you for your work through the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. Thank you!

Founded in 2020, Partners in Medicine is a forum to develop an open dialogue and connection between industry leaders and physician members of the Colorado Medical Society in the furtherance of patient care and helping physicians achieve personal and professional satisfaction.

CMS has partnered with a host of respected and leading health care industry and wellness providers to offer services in many areas of physician need. Current offerings cover HIPAA compliance, practice staffing and management, mental health resources, financial assistance and advice, telehealth, billing, transcription and even travel planning. Apply for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s (CDPHE) Women’s Wellness Connection (WWC) program Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program (BCCSP) advisory board. The advisory board recommends guidelines for the services of the WWC program and rules and regulations as necessary. The CDPHE Medication Take-back Program is working to find locations and organizations to host a collection kiosk for the new CDPHE sharps/needle take-back program. Read more here.

Registration is opening soon for White Coat Wisdom, a virtual event sponsored by the Colorado Medical Society that brings med students face-to-face with physician leaders to learn about managing debt, public health, the business of medicine and more. It will be held May 8, 6-8:30 p.m.
