Br. Mohamed El-Tayash (Dean of Students) presenting the theme of the month to Elementary Students

A poster by Zuhaila D (9th Grade)

Assalamu Alaikum,

Dear Parents & School Community,

Alhamdulillah, we have successfully completed the first month of the school year at Al-Amal School. I want to take this opportunity to thank all our families for their support and partnership during this important start. It has been a blessing to see our students settling into routines, building new friendships, and beginning their academic and spiritual journey for the year.

Our teachers and staff are working diligently to foster a culture of Islamic learning and character, while ensuring student growth in core academic subjects. Over the past month, students have already begun engaging in activities that promote leadership, collaboration, and responsibility—skills that will serve them well both inside and outside the classroom.

This year also marks an important milestone for our school, as we prepare for the upcoming accreditation reviews by both COGNIA and CISNA, In-Shaa'Allah. These accreditations affirm that Al-Amal School not only meets rigorous academic standards but also remains firmly committed to integrating Islamic values into all aspects of our culture and environment.

We are also pleased to see the enthusiasm from our Dean of Students’ initiatives. The September theme of hygiene and cleanliness was embraced by students through lessons, posters, and hands-on activities. For October, our focus is on controlling our tongue and speech, and students are already engaging with this value through class discussions, contests, and mentorship opportunities.

As we move forward, we continue to count on the strong partnership of our families. Together, we can nurture both the academic success and Tarbiyah of our children. May Allah (SWT) bless our efforts and grant success to our school community.

As always, my door is open, and I welcome your feedback. Please do not hesitate to reach out via email or phone to schedule a time to meet. Let us continue to work together to make this year one of growth and achievement for our students, In-Shaa'Allah.

Wassalamu Alaikum
