Dear Friends,

I have some wonderful news to share with you today.

The Care Service has been awarded a $450,000 grant from the Annual Catholic Appeal Affordable Housing Fund. This funding will allow us to add three affordable and transitional homes right here in St. Charles, Lincoln, and Warren Counties. When these homes are ready, the total number of homes we own and manage will grow to 21. Each home is rented to a family in crisis at an affordable rate based on their income. Our case managers also walk alongside these families, providing the guidance and support they need to build toward a stable, self-sufficient future.

In the tri-county area, there are only seven affordable housing units available for every 100 renters. That’s why this grant as well as your continued support means so much. Thank you for standing with The Care Service and with the families who need us most.
