Mother's Day Program 2022
Thank you to our FON New Vision Team from Murfreesboro, Tennessee for making an impact at NBS!
Middle East Mother's Day 2022 was on March 21. A Mother's Day program was held during the week after Mother's Day to honor NBS 2nd grade mothers. The New Vision team helped the students make a gift and cards to surprise their mothers at the event. In addition, the team set up and prepared the program space to make it welcoming and festive. Each team member played an essential part in the event, including greeting, serving, helping with the children, interacting with the families, and making each person feel loved. The program consisted of a performance, a video made by the children about their mother, a photography moment, sharing a message on mothering, a prayer of blessing, and of course, food and fellowship. Thank you, New Vision, for being our first team in 2 1/2 years and for a job well done!
It was an honor to celebrate in Nazareth the retirement of Mike and Donna Chisam. The NBS School Board hosted a dinner to recognize and thank the Chisams for their faithful service. Thank you, Donna and Mike, for all you have done for Friends of Nazareth and the Nazareth Baptist School. May God continue to bless you!
Spring Carnival at NBS!
Spring Carnival was the first gathering since Covid and was a day filled with games, face painting, bounce houses, food, bull riding, crafts, and much more family fun! Older NBS students served at the booths and activities during the carnival. Thank you to the Parent's Committee for planning, organizing, and making the carnival such a success. The funds raised will help with projects for the school.
The Friend's Commitee held an event for the school community. It was a wonderful family evening. The guest entertainer engaged the audience, and everyone enjoyed seeing staff and students participate on stage. This event also raised funds to help with projects at NBS.
NBS is celebrating its students who competed in an Israeli Computer Competition. The students competed in Scratch Language, Virtual Robot programming, and computer thinking programming. We are very proud of these students!
We celebrate NBS Primary School students who participated in an English Talent Show Competition. Students used a variety of methods to share their information in English. Well done!
As part of cultural activities, High School students reenacted a traditional wedding. It was a celebration designed to help students understand their heritage.
High School students participated in a sports event with another local school. The students played basketball and volleyball. Several alumni, as well as staff, played against the student teams.
Easter Celebrations
NBS celebrated a special Easter program, in person and online, called "He Is Risen!" It was a program of singing and a special Easter message. Thank you to the staff and students who participated in the event.
A special thank you to two alumni who sang at the event.

NBS held an Easter egg hunt to celebrate new life!
Students found hidden eggs and won small prizes.
To celebrate Easter, each class had a variety of activities according to their age. Activities included playing Kahoot after Easter lessons, singing Easter hymns, making crafts, and enjoying a puppet show.
NBS held a spring bazaar to raise funds to give to the needy in the community. A faithful group of volunteers prepared handmade food and items to sell. Thank you to our FON American team for bringing items to contribute to the bazaar. The goal is to show the love of Christ in the community.
