This April the FAA will be celebrating our annual, Month of the Aviation and Aerospace Child. We will be joining other national celebrations of children and families such as Month of the Military Child, NAEYC's Week of the Young Child and Take Your Daughters and Sons to Work Day. Many FAA employees are wearing two hats, full time employee and parent. We recognize the daily challenge to successfully balance work and family. This annual, month long celebration across the FAA will highlight and celebrate our outstanding, hard working professionals and their families.

We also want to shine a light on the FAA’s Child Care Program’s valuable resources for all of our employees.

In preparation for the month we are looking to get the ball rolling with some content. If you or your child is interested in participating, please fill out the links below.

How you and your family can be involved
Throughout April, we would love to spotlight our future aviators. Does your family love aviation? Is your child part of or interested in aviation? Do they fly, attend STEM events? Do they want to follow in your foot steps? Do they play Air Traffic Controller or imagine themselves as a pilot? Do they love everything airplane?
As we continue to celebrate our Aviation and Aerospace Children we want to recognize their passions. Is your child passionate about sports, animals, writing, being an artist, giving back to the community, making a difference, sewing, being a musician, building, cooking/ baking, inventing stuff, a natural actor/tress? The examples are endless, share their story with us.
