Re Celebrating the "You" in JWU
Break out your best Wildcat gear and join me at the Harborside Athletic Practice Patio on Friday, September 30 for a JWU family picnic. This event will run from 3:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. and you are welcome to join the fun for some or all of that time. This is a moment for us to come together to meet colleagues, reconnect, celebrate our successes, and mark the beginning of a new academic year. Trade your offices, classrooms, phone calls and video chats for some sun, fun, and good food and company.
We are a Wildcat family, so I would love for you to bring yours. We kindly ask that you leave your pets at home, but encourage spouses, partners, and children to join you. Food (including child-friendly options), lawn games and music will be provided – feel free to bring lawn chairs, blankets, your own games if you'd like, and perhaps your favorite dessert to share with colleagues. A local alumnus will cater the event so that everyone has an opportunity to relax and enjoy the occasion.
Parking will be available in the F Lot.
