"Keeping in Touch" Celebrates the 4th of July!

Greetings, Tutors!

Happy Birthday, America! The United States will celebrate its 246th birthday on the 4th
of July, as it commemorates the day when the nation claimed sovereignty and adopted the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. This holiday is enthusiastically celebrated with parades, picnics, barbeques, fireworks, and reflection.

Summer is finally here, which means pulling out the grill and enjoying plenty of fun in the sun, whether you're at the beach, at the pool, or in your own backyard.

We hope that your tutoring is going well and that you find the enclosed activities and information useful, as you dive right in to working with your learner.

We appreciate your dedication to your student and to Literacy DuPage. You are making a difference in the lives of your student and their family and the community.

As always, please do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions or need help with tutoring strategies. Be well and take care.

With gratitude and hope,

Your Tutor Support Specialist

Tutor Engagement
End of Fiscal Year Reporting

On June 20th, you will receive the 4th quarter (April, May, June) request to report your tutoring hours. The collection of these data from all of our tutors is critically important to our funding streams. We are required to report to our funders the number of hours that you have donated with your time and talent to Literacy DuPage and to our students.

The simple form takes a few minutes to complete by providing your cumulative number hours for tutoring, preparation, professional development, and travel to and from tutoring locations.

Please respond quickly to our request!  Our reporting is due to funders on July 1st.
