God Heard Their Cry
Vander Laan illustrates how, in ancient times, nothing was bigger than Egypt...powerful pharaohs, strong armies, and a multitude of gods. God's people were no match against the Egyptians. In this volume of That the World May Know, discover how God answers the cry of his persecuted people and proclaims himself Lord to them and their oppressors. Filmed on location in Luxor, Egypt; Deir al Medina, Ramesseum, and the Red Sea, these illuminating "faith lessons" afford a new understanding of the Bible that will ground your convictions and transform your life.
1 st and 3 rd Mondays, 10:00 am - For January 6 & 20
Tuesdays with the Pastor
Dare to Dream is a startling and inspiring program by popular author and pastor Mike Slaughter that draws on the Bible and a lifetime of ministry to help us discern God’s dream for us and learn to live it out, prayerfully and enthusiastically. This DVD contains six-weekly teaching sessions (7-10 minutes each) in which Slaughter guides participants in developing a life mission statement to help them fully commit to a God-directed lifestyle.

If you've ever said the wrong thing or said the right thing the wrong way you know how quickly your mouth can make a big mess. But it doesn’t have to be that way. This 6-session video study explores how your wiring affects what you say, how you listen, and how others hear you. After taking the 40-question assessment, you'll learn a simple framework that will instantly improve your communication. And you'll see how advice from the apostle Paul thousands of years ago may have held the secret all along. Kathleen Edelman has one goal in life: to help people learn to speak kindly to each other. She is certified in Biblical Studies and Christian Counseling Psychology and has spent more than 25 years coaching clients in the art of communication. She is married with two grown children and has a surprising passion for martial arts and pickup trucks.

1:00 pm - Quartet!
Beecham House is abuzz. The rumor circling the halls is that the home for retired musicians is soon to play host to a new resident. Word is, it's a star. For Reginald Paget (Tom Courtenay), Wilfred Bond (Billy Connolly) and Cecily Robson (Pauline Collins) this sort of talk is par for the course at the gossipy home. But they're in for a special shock when the new arrival turns out to be none other than their former singing partner, Jean Horton (Maggie Smith). Her subsequent career as a star soloist, and the ego that accompanied it, split up their long friendship and ended her marriage to Reggie, who takes the news of her arrival particularly hard. Can the passage of time heal old wounds?
And will the famous quartet be able to patch up their differences in time for Beecham House's gala concert?
