Movies with Meaning!
Please note there's been a date change!
A Quiet Passion (2017) - Cynthia Nixon delivers a triumphant performance as Emily
Dickinson as she personifies the wit, intellectual independence and pathos of the poet whose genius only came to be recognized after her death. Acclaimed British director Terence Davies (House of Mirth, The Deep Blue Sea) exquisitely evokes Dickinson's deep attachment to her close-knit family along with the manners, mores and spiritual convictions of her time that she struggled with and transcended in her poetry.

Teen Faith In Action
Friends of the Environment Table
The Teen Faith in Action will be manning the "Friends of the Environment Table" on each second Sunday. Look for us near the Fair Trade Table. We will have reusable produce bags, trash bags that disintegrate in the landfills and bamboo flatware. We are providing this table to help bring awareness of alternative products that are better for the environment.
Yarn Works Attends the Annual
Snug Hugs Event - November 2
The Snug Hugs for Kids event was attended by seven of our Yarn Works volunteers. All year long the Yarn Works ladies make and donate items to be donated to needy children at Christmas time. We were able to donate 85 items this year and had a very fun time meeting other knitters and crocheters from the area.
