How a Mystic Succeeds

A true mystic lives in two different worlds simultaneously—the outer physical world, and an inner spiritual world occupied by the Presence of God. A mystic is a person who spends his or her life in pursuit of God’s Presence and Absolute Truth, which is one and the same as God’s Presence. Down through the ages, the primary method used to find God’s Presence has been meditation.
Once a mystic has either come close to, or actually experienced God’s Presence, there arises a different approach to success, and often a redefining of what success is. Success can encompass much more in its definition than merely physical or worldly success. A true mystic sees success as also including spiritual awakening, awareness, and enlightenment in one’s life.

January 10, 2021, marks the fifth anniversary of our beloved Founder Dr. Paul Leon Masters' transition to the light. Every day we feel his loving and guiding presence around us and will never forget his incredible smile, heartfelt laughter, and integrity. We were blessed and honored to have known him and had exposure to his profound words of wisdom and vision for the future and humanity. He continues to make a profound difference in many lives, and his teachings and legacy live on through the loving actions and examples of our devoted students, ministers, and graduates.
Sixty-two years ago, Dr. Masters took the first step in his journey of creating what is now the largest metaphysical distance-learning university system in the world with members in 125 countries. A trailblazer and pioneer, he was passionately committed to bringing credibility and legitimacy to the world of metaphysics and keeping tuition affordable. To facilitate this, he started a Scholarship Program that has made it possible to keep tuition the same for 21 years. Affordable tuition remains a priority for IMM and is part of our Mission Statement. Besides developing the first metaphysical degree programs, Dr. Masters also dedicated 56 years of his life to higher consciousness research, its findings, education, and practical application.
We have the privilege of being the caretakers and guardians of the institutions he created, and we are deeply committed to their growth, preserving his memory, and continuing his incredible legacy. All of this would not be possible without the support of all our IMM members, and for this, we thank you.

Higher Consciousness Meditation

For many years, Dr. Paul Leon Masters taught students the practice of higher consciousness, mystical meditation in his classes. Being divinely guided, he brought
forth many new and innovative techniques and practices of meditation.
In everyday life, every physical perception has other vibratory levels that are usually unperceived by your physical senses. There are vibrational frequency energies on a psychic, ethereal, astral, mental, and mystical level. In Dr. Masters’ voice, there are usually undetected frequencies of high spiritual energies transmitted to corresponding energy frequencies in your own higher levels of mind and awareness, stimulating them into activity.
The higher vibrational frequencies in Dr. Masters’ voice come as the result of years of going into the higher levels of his consciousness during meditation in which he has personally experienced practically all states of meditative consciousness, which you may have heard or read about in various schools of thought, such as Yoga, Alchemy, Theosophy, Self-Realization, Vedanta, Religious Science, Unity, and Mysticism.
