January 10, 2025, marks the ninth anniversary of our beloved Founder,
Dr. Paul Leon Masters' transition to the light. Every day, we feel his loving and guiding presence around us and will never forget his incredible smile, heartfelt laughter, and integrity. We were blessed and honored to have known him and had exposure to his profound words of wisdom and vision for the future and humanity. He continues to make a profound difference in many lives, and his teachings and legacy live on through the loving actions and examples of our devoted students, ministers, and graduates.
Sixty-six years ago, Dr. Masters took the first step in his journey of creating what is now the largest metaphysical distance-learning university system in the world, with members in over 125 countries. A trailblazer and pioneer, he was passionately committed to bringing credibility and legitimacy to the world of metaphysics and keeping tuition affordable. To facilitate this, he started a Scholarship Program that has made it possible to keep tuition affordable to all. This remains a priority for IMM and is part of our Mission Statement. Besides developing the first metaphysical degree programs, Dr. Masters also dedicated 56 years of his life to higher consciousness research, its findings, education, and practical application.

We have the privilege of being the caretakers and guardians of the institutions he created, and we are deeply committed to their growth, preserving his memory, and continuing his incredible legacy. “Since the inception of my work in the Metaphysical field in 1959 to our first graduating class of ministers in 1963, one of my first priorities was to maintain honesty and integrity and bring greater legitimacy to the field of Metaphysical spirituality.
My intention was for higher metaphysical education and metaphysical spirituality to gain further acceptance in the world as a realistic alternative or addition for people who could not be nourished spiritually by traditional religions.
In this way, our students, graduates, ministers, healers, and teachers can give the entire field of Metaphysical spirituality greater legitimacy and public acceptance for its schools, counselors, coaches, and wellness ministers.”

In his time among us, he was—
and remains in our hearts to this day—
a true teacher, cherished mentor, and genuine friend
to all who crossed his path...

... Yet, if the mystical truth be told, everyone already exists in an after-death or astral plane.
We exist there all our physical lives, from the time we take our first physical breath–and yes, even before that.
This other existence is another dimensional energy body that is a part of one of several dimensions that make up one’s beingness. To add to this mystery of one’s beingness, conscious life activity exists at every level of one’s beingness.
Passing on, or the ending of one’s physical life, is a shifting from physical awareness to astral awareness, and that already exists and has been living an existence in the afterlife or astral world…. Yes, you are many lives being lived simultaneously.
The enormity of this reality of your beingness cannot be overstated.

One may then ask — if all this is true, what should I do?
—Live your life as you have, and God’s Presence within you will guide you.
— By meditating daily and constantly releasing the false sense of personal will and ego identity that dominates, rather than God’s Presence, a higher state of awareness with gradually begin guiding your awareness and life.
—Eventually, whether in the physical lifetime or another, we become wary of the various states of our beingness, and through the Grace of God’s Presence, we integrate all levels into a harmonious wholeness of beingness.
It is not impossible — for in Absolute Truth —all that will be already is.

When the Christ Mind that was in Jesus spoke the words, “I am the Alpha and Omega—the Beginning and the End” (Rev. 1: 8), a profound mystical truth was being proclaimed, affirming what mystics of the past, present, and future have voiced. The words state that the past (that is, the beginning) and the future (that is, the ending) are as One, and that time, or the appearance of it, is a cosmic blur—an illusion of Absolute Reality. This is to say that there is no real time lapse between beginning and ending—only the illusion of it. The illusion of time exists to help in the construction of a cosmic duality, where the suggestion of opposites creates the illusion that the One Life of the Universe, or God, is now many lives and many lifetimes—all seemingly flowing in time.

Intimacy: Intimacy meditation helps you achieve a close, personal relationship with the Presence of God within you, day to day. You are part of the Divine and cannot be separated from it. With this meditation, you will become more aware of and connected to your relationship with God’s Presence within.
It helps to eliminate the sense of separation and loneliness most people feel in their lives.
When you have a true awareness of and connection with Spirit, you feel grounded, safe, confident, and united with all life. That includes people, your life, the Earth, and all of her life forms. You lose the sense of loneliness because you realize you’re not alone.
You feel a oneness with all life, you feel connected to All That Is. You feel that all life, the Earth, the animals and nature, the environment, and the cosmos are part of you and that you are part of all life at all times and in all situations.
This feeling of ‘oneness’ with your True Self also helps you to have healthier personal and family relationships and feel more compassion, tolerance, and patience with others because you realize that in reality, on a spiritual level, they are part of you.
The Universal Mind within you contains all of Creation. You are part of Creation; therefore, you are part of all life. Knowing and making this universal connection creates a sense of ‘companionship’ within you that radiates in, around, and through all areas of your life.

The more I delve into the modules and webinars the more I wish I could have met Dr Masters. He is an incredible man with awe inspiring insite. In past, I have had several epiphanies with regard to understanding what Jesus said and did and other understandings about God that mirror his findings (which I used to think were over the top) and now I know what I was learning was truth. That all this time I am being directed by God. I was told many years ago that contemplation is the highest form of prayer. So I would read spiritual books and anything about Jesus and God and think on them for days sometimes. But now I understand that contemplation is meditation. I cannot express how euphoric finding the Metaphysics University had made me feel and how much it has validated my understandings of God and Jesus. I am incredibly grateful for Dr Masters and the University. ❤️❤️❤️
