To inaugurate the newly Established Milwaukee Avenue Polish Heritage Corridor, State Representative Delia Ramirez and State Senator Cristina H. Pacione-Zayas held a press conference yesterday at the Polish Museum of America. Ramirez was also joined by State Representative Lindsey LaPointe, Senator Robert Martwick, and representatives of the Polish American Chamber of Commerce. House Bill 5581 was signed into law last week.
We think Milwaukee Avenue’s designation as Polish Heritage Corridor will be most helpful in spurring economic development, tourism, and preservation of the Corridor’s Polish heritage to share with all. Thanks to Rep. Delia Ramirez, Sen. Cristina Pacione-Zayas, and all sponsors and supporters of HB5581, including state Rep. Lindsey LaPointe, Sen. Robert F. Martwick, who were with us here yesterday, and especially Daniel Pogorzelski and the PMA!
