Volume V Issue 178
At Holy Faith our mission is that everyone come to know, love and serve God in union with Christ Jesus and his Spirit-filled Catholic Church. In doing so we are committed to our vision to build together a community of compassion in Christ.

"While they were eating, he took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and gave it to them, and said, “Take it; this is my body.”

Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, and they all drank from it. He said to them, “This is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed  for many."
Mk 14:22-24
As we prepare to gather for Mass physically or virtually, reading the Sunday Scripture readings in advance will help prepare us in mind and heart to fully participate in the Mass.

A good way to just listen to the words is to close your eyes
and feel the Holy Spirit move.

TODAY, JUNE 5th, at the 5:00pm Vigil, we celebrate the First Communion of our children during the Solemnity
of the Most Holy Body
and Blood of Christ.

We congratulate the First Communion Class of 2021 and pray:

May their love of God and understanding of our faith continue to grow with them throughout their lives, and may they continue to be blessed with the gift of the Sacrament of the Eucharist. Amen

We will have a Eucharistic Procession following the 11:15am Mass beginning in the Church. This will be livestreamed. Livestream is scheduled to begin about 12Noon while Mass is still being celebrated.

Join us in person, if you can. We honor Christ in the Most Holy Eucharistic in this solemn procession of praise and worship as we celebrate Corpus Christi. This day celebrates our Catholic Faith in the Real Presence of the Risen Christ in the Eucharist, and we, the Church, the body of Christ, are witnesses to this - the most precious gift of God, His Son, Jesus Christ, who gives us Himself, body and blood, soul and divinity in the Most Holy Eucharist at every Catholic Mass all over the world.

We are developing a extended new Ministry at Holy Faith,
but we need more VOLUNTEERS!

We are appealing to all of our families to help us with our 3rd Sunday Catholic Charities Food Drive. Sign up your family to assist on the 3rd Saturday evening of the month from 4:45pm to 6:00pm to load the donations from the cars into the van, or on the 3rd Sunday of the month from 11:00am to 12:30pm. We need at least one family or two individuals to cover the time slots. We have been blessed to have coverage for the 9:30am Mass time for June and July so far. CONSIDER THIS YOUR FAMILY SERVICE TO THE HUNGRY and join us in our vision to "Build together a Community of Compassion in Christ." God blesses those who bless others!
