Last weekend I had an opportunity to be a part of a very special gathering
of about 100 women and a few(very special) men at
Joshua Tree retreat center in CA.
It was a
Celebration of the Return of the Great Mother!
It was so incredible that I'm still in awe and buzzing, and want to share
a few vibes with you, and hope that it will ad an extra spark to your celebration of the Mother's Day this month.
Celebrating the Mother...
Our Celebration was timely, necessary and so magnificent! Every day(it was a four days retreat) was so rich and vibrant, and overflowing with so much love and magic. It was flowing from the heart of the Great Mother and through the hearts of everyone who was there, who came to share their love for her and each other. We celebrated all of her Goddesses forms and archetypes, we sang Her songs together, we danced together, we shared,
we cried and laughed and ate together!
And as we remembered the Divine Mother - Shakti - the vital force of the universe, she awakened within...
And as we embodied her qualities of nurturer and life giver, she became apparent everywhere...
We were celebrating her return! And it was glorious!
"Casting the Net"
“Women hold the spirit of Shakti. Women are the carriers of life. That’s why you are the ones who carry babies, why you hold a wellspring of feeling within you, and why there are always more women than men who follow a spiritual path. You carry pure life force, Shakti. You carry the
fire of Shakti inside yourself, and through it you bring life into form.
This is the truth. You…Are…Shakti!
You can trust the force that pulses in your veins, the force that flows through your blood and through you breath. You carry life!
This pulsing power came to you through your mother, through her mother, and through her mother before her. You are of the female line,
the mothers of the earth.
Mothers of the earth, step forward!
It’s time to return to balance, and women must lead.”
